My perfect brother is totally awesome. He is Father’s firstborn son. My soul, who says she’s my sister, and my whole family is with me all of the time. I hear my big brother’s voice in lots of ways, but mostly in my right ear. Sister talks in my left ear. She’s being super quiet right now, because Brother is speaking to us.
Jesus called the children to him and said: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
Back when I was a lot older, my whole family spoke in my thoughts. They still do, except now they sound more like tones. I’m really happy when Brother and Sister and me get together. That happens all the time. It sounds funny–right tone asks, left tone answers. Kind of like talking, but there’s no words. Sometimes both of my ears tone at the same time. As the youngest in the family, mainly I just try and listen. Of course they’re talking about me, but I can’t always tell what they say. I hope they’re not arguing. Maybe they are planning something fun for me–maybe a super-big surprise!
Whatever it is, I know it’s good because my brother and my sister and Mom and Dad are always good to me.
I learned about my family as I got younger. Sis mostly took care of me at first. She explained everything: our big brother is responsible for Father’s most important stuff. That includes us kids. Brother looks after all of us and our souls, too. Sis says he joined us together in the first place. Sometimes, Brother asks us to help him with his chores. Sister gives me lots of advice, sort of like Mom does. She’s a totally great sister. Sis takes me to new places so I can learn and get smarter. Plus, sometimes she even makes dreams for me!
And, every night at bedtime, my perfect brother asks us about all of the crazy stuff we did that day.
I feel so very loved. Like, I’m never alone, not even when it’s dark and I’m scared, because I have the best family ever. They totally make me feel safe so I don’t worry. I don’t know tons of stuff, but one day, even though I’ll still be a kid, thanks to them I’ll know lots more. I want to be exactly perfect, just like my perfect brother.
Did I tell you my big brother knows everybody? They call him lots of different names. It’s hard to remember them all… Jesus, Jesu, Yeshua, Yehoshua, Christ, Isa and Yasu, Isho–or maybe Eesho? And, Rabbi and Rabini, Teacher, Master, Lord and King, Savior, Redeemer, The Word, The Lamb, The Logos, the Son of Man, Son of God, The Way, The Truth, The Life, The Light.
Some people call him The All. That’s a really big name.
As you can tell, Brother is a very important man. He’s busy all the time. But for me, for ever and always, I know my perfect brother is with me. Even right now. With tons of kids running around, I can’t figure out how he does that. Like I said, he’s totally awesome.
Happy birthday Brother!
