About Freely Receive

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 16:19

FreelyReceive centers on ancient wisdom: connect earth to heaven in every way possible. Hidden within mankind’s traumatic world exists a divinely peaceful realm in which every need is met. The keys to the immortal kingdom of God are widely distributed. All who complete the journey shall enter. What is this kingdom? Is it what the Ancients call “Eden”? Your human teachers can’t really say. Your inner Teacher can. One point is certain: the 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.' (Matthew 25:34)kingdom is not a joint production of God and man—but the journey is. Ask your soul, the indwelling Holy Spirit, to lead you to Paradise.

…I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

Matthew 18:18-19

If God ‘hopes’ for or ‘wants’ anything, it is for your body and soul to enter His world: a Promised Land created just for you. To show each son and daughter the unimaginable wonders of creation; to walk hand-in-hand with you every day, as God once did with Adam and Eve. Nowhere do the Scriptures state that we may not return to Eden. The path to the tree of life is narrow, guarded and watched over—but not chained off. And, neither of us are Adam or Eve.

Me? I am both. What about you?

Small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life.  —Matthew 7:14

FreelyRecieve is a detailed exploration of the narrow road. My soul and me are alone on our journey. Most religious leaders warn that finding one’s way Home without help from the ‘experts’ is foolhardy. Christ says the opposite is true. Following the inner voice—the word within us—is precisely what the Lord You are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. (Matthew 23:8-11)teaches. Answers come from the same place our questions do. Even so, sometimes I lack the courage to ask. The generally accepted idea of going Home is a disturbing prospect.

Doesn’t something seem terribly wrong about that? Must the journey be so…painful? Is death the only road?

Good questions. I get “yes, no,” and “no.” What about you?

I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
you have become my salvation.
The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
the Lord has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes.

Psalm 118

Content Guarantee / Warning

Freely Receive was founded to gently unravel 2,000 years of division, compromise, false impressions and outright lies concerning mankind’s inheritance. The world’s religious teachers say Heaven is our only option. It seems our leaders have ignored Christ’s second path. I haven’t. Why travel all this way—endure the slings and arrows of mortal life—only to see our soul return to its original, non incarnate state? How can death in any way be called man’s “inheritance”?

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:25-26

I can’t say whether you will find your truth here. I assure you this tiny kingdom promotes no creeds, rules, laws, suffering, devils or eternal punishment—except when they are called into question. This website offers fresh insights and commentary on ancient wisdom, the love of glorious mankind, God and soul, and tips to strengthen our bond. I sincerely hope you enjoy what time you spend on its pages.

1) The content of Freely Receive does not allude to a ‘flawed’ creator, an unholy creation, or a perfect but distant God who is unaware of his children’s needs (a core precept of Gnosticism), and is not necessarily dualistic in nature (core precepts of Gnosticism, Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism).

2) This website affirms our Creator’s infinite love and perfection, the divinity and goodness of heaven, earth, and all of the children of God (precepts of Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism) in whatever form they posses (except for that part).

3) This website does not assert that our lives on earth must be filled with suffering (fundamental precept of Gnosticism and Buddhism). We are not forced by the nature of God’s creation to cause other beings to suffer or die in order to sustain our lives.

4) Freely Receive does not suggest the presence of a tormenting second god such as the devil, or the egotistical ‘demiurge’ indicative of Gnosticism. There is but one God whose love and power extends into infinity. If there is evil, it is not for us to judge (a precept of Christianity and Judaism), (sometimes).

To the best of my knowledge, Freely Receive champions no modern creed or brand-name theology. I am Christic. This same term applies to the original Twelve, and to the tens of thousands of genuine disciples from all faiths and cultures who chose to trust Yeshua’s word prior to the organization of the Roman Church in 320 CE.

If thou say ‘I’m a Jew’—no one will be moved. If thou say ‘I’m a Roman’—no one will be disturbed. If thou say ‘I’m a Greek, a barbarian, a slave, a freeman’—no one will be troubled. If thou say ‘I’m a Christic’—everyone shall heed. May it occur that I have received from him in this manner, this which the worldly shall not be able to withstand when they hear this name!

Philip 53 Acts 5:41-42

Subject Matter

The content of this website is twofold. First, I am honored to host the Coptic Christian gospels of Thomas, Philip, and Truth, which feature brilliantly annotated translations, insightful commentary and expert scholarly work from Thomas Paterson Brown.

Dr. Brown dedicated his life to proving these texts contain first and secondhand witness of Christ. They are not Gnostic by definition, though most believe they are because ministers, priests, and lauded scholars (who should know better) say so. Reflect on the unbridled wisdom of the Risen Lord centuries before the Church came into being. Compare Yeshua’s words to Scripture using the hundreds of links to Scripture embedded within the pages of this website. And prepare for ‘accepted’ human thinking to be challenged.

Yeshua says: I shall give to you what eye has not seen and what ear has not heard and what hand has not touched and what has not arisen in the mind of mankind.

Thomas 17

All other content at Freely Receive is entirely my own, or borrowed from (sometimes human) beings whose contributions I cherish. My charge and life’s desire are to share personal experiences of the road to the kingdom, and present scriptures and revelations that improve the reader’s connection to God: our divine Family. I pray for Their ongoing help with this work.
