The Gifts of Loving God

Some years ago, I asked my loving God for a heavenly gift. To my astonishment, I got it. A short time later, I discovered that God had sent me some ‘extra’ gifts I had not asked for. His gifts were infinitely better, but it took time for me to relax and understand my mixed blessings. I continue to work at this every day. I do not envision a time when the journey will be completed—I pray it never is. And, I will trust my loving God forever, love him in all of his infinite forms.

It can be quite difficult to love every living thing. But we must, else we divide ourselves from our loving God.

I don’t believe God reveals himself in just one way. In truth I cannot conceive just how beautiful, how endlessly indescribable and loving God is. I imagine one could have any kind of relationship they choose–serious, informal, joyous, troubled, lighthearted, childish. I experience all of these, and more keep coming. Many of my gifts are similar to the things I’ve always received in life, except now I know who is sending them. Life is vastly more interesting and enjoyable when I know each new development is aimed at bringing me nearer to my father.

Recognize Yourself

Yeshua says: If those who lead you say to you: Behold, the Sovereignty is in the sky!, then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you: It is in the sea!, then the fish of the sea will precede you. But the Sovereignty of God is within you and it is without you. Whoever recognizes himself shall find it; and when you recognize yourselves you shall know that you are the Sons of the Living Father. Yet if you do not recognize yourselves, then you are impoverished and you are the impoverishment.

The Gospel of Thomas, verse 3

Translation by Dr. Paterson Brown

Find Your Soul, Find the Life

To find the life God intended for you, find your soul. Your soul is none other than that “perfect someone” you’ve been longing for all of your life. When you make a conscious effort to create a loving bond with your inner spirit, a sacred space forms. You’re less concerned with conflict and daily drama. You feel much more peaceful and life seems to flow more smoothly. Better still, when you find your soul you’ll receive unlimited spiritual help, love, and healing directly from God.

You have just been called. You chose to read this article, which means that your loving soul is asking you to say “hello.” In this moment, your perfect companion eagerly invites you to unite with him or her—and accept the blissful life the two of you were destined to live.

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Genesis 1:27
